The 3rd ATM International Conference will take place on November 16th 2018, in Lisbon, subordinated to the theme:
Air Navigation – Driver of Economic Growth
Hosted by the Portuguese Association of Air Traffic Controllers, this biennial conference aims to be a time and place where aviation experts can meet and debate, surpassing discipline and geographical frontiers, thus promoting a broad reflection on aviation present and future.
As in previous editions, the conference will address the most current topics within the sector, split in two panels:
Panel I – The European Strategy for Air Navigation
National Air Navigation from an international perspective will be under discussion, including legal framework, aviation strategy and sustainability for the next decades and response limitations from the different stakeholders to the continuous demand.
Panel II – The Future Airport System of Lisbon
The highly complex future airport system of Lisbon will be under the spotlight on the second Panel – how to overcome the difficult articulation between multiple systems and national partners? How to identify the several constraints and challenges brought by traffic growth? – promoting the search for answers.
